About the Instructor  

Rassouli is a visionary artist who has come to the attention of the international art world in recent years. What makes his art so unique is the way he translates spiritual experience from his subconscious onto canvas through meditation at sunrise. His style does not focus on what is literally seen by the artist, but by surrendering conceptually to what is felt on a deeper level.

Rassouli’s painting technique is known at Fusionart, a style that he has created and registered and is presently teaching in Southern California. The main theme of Fusionart is cosmic unity. The painting style is derived from mysticism, near-eastern spiritually, and a foundation in European painting techniques. Check out www.Rassouli.com  for examples of his works.

About the Workshop   Come join Rassouli in a fun filled two day experience connecting with your inner creative self.  Rassouli is a master artist who loves to share the experience of connecting with the inner creator and expressing this joy through paint.  This is not a typical art class about methods and technique. Rather it is a joyous experience where you connect with your inner child, the fearless creator, and in the process create a painting.

Absolutely no painting experience is required and even so you will produce multiple paintings in this two day class. The experienced painters will rediscover the joy of dancing in the creative process and will find new ways to express this joy on their canvases. It is suggested that students bring their own supplies. A materials list can be provided upon registration*. If you have an easel, bring it along. You can find cheap easels, for $15.00 or less at a number hobby and art stores. Some easels will be available for use during the class. There are a limited number of student grade starter kits containing 2 canvases (18"x24"), 6 tubes of acrylic paint and brushes for the price of $35.00. You can reserve these when you register.  Additional canvases will be available for purchase at the class.

Also, you can join Rassouli for dinner between 6 and 9 Saturday night, where he will talk about the creative process, ways to over come blocks and other topics about the creative process.  So come and join in the fun.
