Acupressure - Basic

Acupressure – Basic ~ Participants learn that by gently stimulating particular points on the body, muscular tension can be relieved and endorphins, which help in alleviating pain, are stimulated. By using the fingertips, thumbs and hands on these key points, circulation can improve and the body’s immune system is stimulated. Acupressure, when practiced on a regular basis, stimulates healing and can be a very effective injury prevention and health enhancing practice.  Participants learn to use acupressure to support another persons healing when experiencing any number of conditions such as stress, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, allergies, menstrual difficulties, insomnia, digestive problems, nausea and back pain.

Chair Shiatsu
Shiatsu is Japanese medical bodywork. The primary technique of Shiatsu is gentle, deep pressure, using fingers (shi means finger and atsu means pressure in Japanese). This pressure is given without oil, on a clothed client. The combination of very relaxing pressure and a clothed client makes Shiatsu an ideal application for a chair therapy. In this Chair Shiats course, the participant will be able to demonstrate a protocol and variety of techniques for a twenty minute Chair Shiatsu therapy.

Aromatherapy for Wellness gives participants information on the benefits, cautions, properties, selection and safe application of essential oils selected to promote wellness.  Several essential oils and blends appropriate for use in practice and business environments are included.

Selecting oils and blends that provide environmental support for various purposes is discussed.  Different application methods are discussed and demonstrated.  The course includes  an essential oil kit and support kit with oils appropriate for use in business and home environments.

Autonomic Cranial Enhancement

Learn an efficient method of communicating with the body using specialized kinesiology.  This seminar includes a review of the anatomical areas involved in the protocol as well as related physiology.  Participants have ample opportunity to master the “Basic 8” steps of the protocol so they have enough knowledge and skill to practice the Basic 8 with others.   These are the first steps in restoring balance to the body after fight/flight.

As critical as the spine is to the musculoskeletal and central nervous systems and the energetic body, it becomes the place where compensations made to successfully survive short term threats become locked and create long-term imbalances with rippling effects throughout the body and its systems.  Participants learn to use the ACE Spinal Balancing protocol to guide the body by unlocking these compensations, thus freeing self-healing which creates spinal rebalancing and the resulting organization and integration of systems throughout the body.

"Ride the Waves of CranialSacral Therapy" Participants will acquire the resources to facilitate healing using the CranialSacral Balancing Therapy I protocol in practical situations.  They will also personally experience the power of this gentle therapy in their own healing process.

Participants experience and practice a basic protocol along with gaining an understanding of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) system, its functions and how it relates to and affects the entire body. Participants leave the seminar with the resources to facilitate healing of the CSF system and correlated parts of the body.
